Children, age six to 12, are invited to enjoy Reindeer Games at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center on Friday, December 7, while parents enjoy an evening off to shop or have a night on the town.  From 6:00 to 10:30 p.m., the kids will have a blast swimming, playing games, doing crafts, watching a movie and eating pizza.  Pre-register by 5:00 p.m. on December 6 and pay $12 per City Resident/$20 per Non-City Resident.  On December 7, the day of the event, the fee is $17 City Resident/$28 Non-City Resident.  For more information, contact 918-2280.

Santa at the Beach

Bring your camera for an unique family photo on the beach. Pets on a leash are welcome. Santa will be on the beach for pictures from 12pm to 3pm. Holiday activies will include bingo, story times, reindeer relay races and games, and much more!

This is a "Kid Friendly" Event

Sponsored by HTC, the annual Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast is a tradition not only for locals but
visitors as well. Located at Spud's Waterfront Dining Restaurant, the afternoon will consist of
all you can eat oysters. Oysters start coming out at 11:30 and continue until 2:30. Other foods
including chowder, wings, hot dogs, burgers, beer, and soda will also be offered for seperate
prices. The event is FREE but to eat oysters, $30 tickets must be bought. There will be music
by Marino Garbin and the Waccamaw Intermediate School Calypso Steel Drum Band. Make sure to
bring an oyster knife or buy one for the roast.

One of the most beautiful sites on the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet
is the prestigious Belin Methodist Church. They've been doing the annual
BBQ for 44 years! At the Bazaar, there will be live entertainment and
distinctive gifts.

This BBQ and Bazaar will be Saturday, November 3rd from 9 am to 4 pm and
BBQ will be served from 11 to 4. Live entertainment will be there from
around 11 to 2.

BBW plates are available for dining in or just take out if you're in a
rush. There will be BBQ, baked beans, slaw, and rolls. The cost is $8
per plate or for a one POUND container of BBQ.
