The City of Myrtle Beach will pick up Christmas trees from YOUR curb and recycle them. All you have to do is place trees at the curb, but not in the road, and don’t cover any utility meters or boxes. Also, make sure to remove all decorations and tree stands!
If you don’t want to wait for curbside pickup, you may take your tree to the drop-off point on Mr. Joe White Avenue at 21st Avenue North Extension (behind Myrtle Waves Water Park). In February, the trees will be ground, and the resulting mulch will be available to the public for free. What a great way to recycle and get rid of your tree in the process!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
"Best BBQ on the Beach" is the slogan for Bar B Que House in Surfside beach and the BBQ lives up to the name. The food was excellent with large, yummy portions and GREAT service. This is by far the best BBQ I've had in a while and easily the best in the Grand Strand Area.
They have locations in Surfside (where I went) and in North Myrtle Beach. Visit their website at: bestbbqonthebeach.com or like them on facebook to see even more reviews.
