One of the growing trends in the Myrtle Beach, SC market is the "quiet hideaway" home. One on a half to an acre and a half lot of land, with plenty of woodlands around to absorb sound, indigenous wildlife and plants and a natural setting. This sort of development is designed to give each home a great degree of privacy and individuality.
One excellent example of this type of exclusive and very prestigious development in the Myrtle Beach - Murrells Inlet area of South Carolina is the development of Creek Harbour. Very nearly the perfect implementation of this sort of development , Creek Harbour is a gated with extensive recreational boating activity on the historic Intracoastal Waterway of South Carolina, used for decades as a way to get agricultural products to deeper harbors on the coast.
The stated aim of the development of Creek Harbour is that it's a place where live runs at a slower pace, where it can be savored and enjoyed, rather than hurried through; it's a community where sitting out on the porch and watching the birds on any of the five acres of lakes, or enjoying a sunset, or listening to the gentle sound of the falling rain can be appreciated and enjoyed; residents here work hard for their money, and they use it to buy themselves the peace and tranquility that the runaway pace of modern life doesn't allow.
Creek Harbour is built around a centralized amenity center, and has access to the creeks that give it its name, and to five acres of lakes. This amenity center is also the central point of access for home owners who own boats and want to use them in the tranquil, calm times the development sets in place. There are slips for forty-five boats, plus over one hundred and fifty feet of floating docks, plus golf cart parking to get to and from your boats. In addition to this, there may be lots still available for custom home construction that has direct access to the waterways. These lots have the option, at construction of the home on them, for a private dock or private boat slip. Because of these added features, and the desire to roll out the northern part of the development first, these lots are premium, and are priced accordingly. Be sure to call ahead and ask about them if you're interested; we cannot guarantee that they'll be available.
Utility connections for all of the lots on the development include fiber optic cable runs; this allows customers to have full high speed internet connections - even faster than cable modem, and much faster than DSL service. This allows the full range of internet options, ranging from streaming movie downloads to online shopping at the fastest speeds possible in this part of the country. The developers are working hard to make sure that the physical plant for this sort of infrastructure remains top rate.
Creek Harbour is still under development, and there are plenty of opportunities to get your own custom built home in the development, or to pick up one of the handful of available homes still on the market. If you're looking to build, there are still seventeen lots left with their own access to the waterways and boating facilities.
